I was going to update my video nvidia video card drivers and discovered there were two possible downloads, one for Windows XP and the other for Windows XP 64.
How can I find out which one I need? I am using Windows XP Professional Edition.
Thanks in advance.

Most likely you will need the top download, the 32 bit reference drivers
.
The 64bit reference drivers are for the 64bit cards.

If you bought the graphics card from a major retail shop, you most likely have the 32 bit version.

You can also tell by the pci card slot. 64 bit pci cards and the card slots are longer than the 32 bit. If the card is a standard sized pci card, it is prolly 32 bit.

Try that one first.

This is also assuming that you have the regular retail version of Windows Xp, and not the 64 bit version.

The driver is referring to 64-bit XP and not a 64-bit card. Beleive me, you do not have 64-bit XP. Download the 32-bit version of the driver.

with reference to my video card, it is a 64M GeForce2 Nividia 400MX AGP card - not PCI slot.
I will download the 32bit drivers, thanks for your help.
Is there anywhere in my windows control panel, system etc. where I can find out if it is a 32 or 64bit O/S?

YOU DO NOT HAVE 64bit Windows XP! It currently only runs on the Itanium processor which is several thousand dollars by itself.

Trust Open_Source, if you had the 64 bit version you would know, it as your bank balance would be very very low.

It would also say on the bootup (which I am guessing wouldnt need to happen much) and prob in system properties.
