In order to make the Web less complicated, Microsoft has released the technical preview of a new program called "Live Mesh" that embraces the industry trend towards 'cloud computing', and uses the Internet as a hub to bring together data, applications, and devices.
Initially, "Live Mesh" will be limited to 10,000 US testers and computers running Microsoft Windows OS, but the company plans to extend it to mobile phones, computers from Apple, as well other devices connected to the Internet over the coming months. The software giant plans to release the public beta of "Live Mesh" before the end of 2008.
