Windows cant see my CDR drive

I have a PHILIPS CDD4801 CD-R/RW drive. at first it was workin but now it doesnt and windows says this

"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" and it has the yellow Exclamation point in the Device Manager.

can anyone help?

Install the Adaptec ASPI layer. Download it and install it according to the readme and your burners should work.
