win2k DC and XP Pro Problem

Hi

We have got 15 pcs and a win2k domain contoller, we recently upgraded a number of pcs to xp pro.
To begin with we had them set up on a workgroup but decided to add the xp machines to the domain.

Now for some reason the xp machines take about 5 mins to log onto the domain and keep radomly dropping mapped network drives and generally access to all pc's on the network tho we still have internet access available.

Any one have any ideas cuss its driving me mad having to restart the xp machines to get network access back.?????????

Make sure the workstations are pointing to the right DNS for the Domain, if you have a seperate DNS server for Internet access you could use the host file and enter the Domain info in there.
