just loking at the software news has made me baffled. which driver should i install on my 6800gt. 70.80 or 67.60 or what? there are so many revisions. i know some of these are beta, but in you guys humble opnion, which ones should i use?
which forceware drivers? too many..

If you are unsure, maybe stick with the last ones on nvidia.com having said that 😱 Forceware 71.24 is WHQL certified, but then is 7 series, 6 series will be more stable (maybe?) so you could go for 67.60

Just found this thread.
I've just downgraded myself from 71.24 to 71.21 due to a specific problem with water "discolouration" in CounterStrike:Source.
They benchmark identically in the latest 3dMark, and give better visuals in CS:Source as mentioned.
Try them.
