where is it?

When you right click on the desktop and go to "New", the items there such as text document, ect.... are listed to choose from.
Can anyone tell me what folder or location these selections are kept in? I managed to remove "Briefcase" and want to put it back in the list. Thanks

You can use PowerToys for Windows XP to add/remove those entries. It is great for removing all of the BS that gets added there.

Any tweaking utility (tweakui, tweakxp, x-setup) will handle this for you nicely.
