I ripp dvd films and convert them to vcd...but i would like to knw what this means...i saw it on vcd help.com

If you are having problems copying the Movie VOB files to your HDD, I suggest you check your ASPI Layer, the ASPI that comes with Windows9x, Millenium are not good for ripping, update them, and Windows2000/XP does not come with an ASPI Layer at all...?

how do i knw if mione needs updating etc...where can i get it from..??

You can get the aspi layer here: http://www.xp-erience.org/download.php?op=getit&lid=14

When you download that and unzip it, run the file aspichk.exe... this program will tell you if you have an aspi layer installed. If you don't, then run the file aspi.bat... this will put qualifying product files in place that you can upgrade. Then run the aspi32.exe to install the aspi layer. Instructions for this are also in that download.

Hey EP! All good with me, applying for Microsoft MVP right now, should have done this a while ago.

Notifications don't work, I only found your response by coming back to hunt up some threads, if you want, give me your email address so we can keep in touch easier!

EP, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there!
