weird issue with XP pro

good thing is that my OS is the only thing on this HDD. all my other is on my 250gig hdd. the OS hdd ive had for 4 years so its had its time. i think its a maxtor. is there a warranty for those on 4 years? ill have to look into that. thanks for all the help guys!! appreciate it!

i ran a scan disk rebooted and all is good. everything is working fine now. thanks for the help!

for now, dont wait till it happens again. my download drive is the same. works for a few hours then errors out again

no 3 years tops on that drive back then.
