Access to this web page is restricted at this time.

The website you accessed is blocked by Corporate Policy because:
The Websense category "Malicious Web Sites" is filtered.
Site accessed:
http://www.osnn.net/

wow why would this site get nailed by websence... ?

If you administer websense, there is a white list.

In the old days - I used to SSH to my home, and browse from there. Once I found an open port that is. SSH tunnel is just that ... they can't see inside.

See no evil ..... you get the picture.

Thanks Matt

I found that just after I asked LOLOL

But it seems that Websence has black listed you as "Malicious Web Sites" I asked for a confirmation from our IT Security team ... but he said

Wayne,
http://www.osnn.net/ is categorized as Malicious by Websense. Since I trust their categorization, I don't want to risk and unblock site categorized by Websense as Malicious!
Your request is denied.

I answered back and linked the Microsoft sites ... to be continued !!

Wow, I wonder what would cause that?! I really doubt its that warez thread, if it is then that is ridiculous. /. talks about or says the word warez from time to time on their comments and articles and such and I imagine they don't get blacklisted.

Crazy stuff.

That's a total BS answer from a lazy IT dept. A competent IT dept would realize that any filtering software misclassifies sites from time to time and will check the site themselves to determine if it should be blocked or not.

At one point our mailsweeper software at work was blocking all emails coming from the @nhs.net domain as spam. Which pretty much covers everybody who works for the uk health service, lol! Pretty good when we act for doctors, lol! Soon got it sorted though.
