If I am going to upgrade to Vista should I go for 32 or 64 bit?

64,

don't bother looking at 32 bit anymore, especially with 4gig of ram

Heeter

look at 32bit just incase the progs you use dont have any 64 bit native versions, and if the 32 bit versions have issues on x64

As I thought.

When I installed XP pro on the same PC last year I needed a floppy drive for certain raid utilities. Will Vista need a floppy for installation?

I just bought Unreal Tournament 2007, will that run on Vista 64? 🙂

I didn't need a floppy or a USB key for my Vista install.

Running Vista Ultimate x64 and quite happy, I recommend you make the plunge 🙂

x64. Nothing better. All the problems people had with XP x64 are long gone. If anything it's very minor

I've just got it (Vista64 Ultimate) and am going to install it on a completely new HDD.
