video blanks out on vista64 machine

Hey all,

I got this vista machine here 64bit.

Anyways, the monitor (LCD) keeps blanking out every once in a while. The screen goes black and comes back on in about five seconds.

It is onboard video (X1200), DVI connector being used, and all the latest ATI drivers are installed.

This monitor doesn't do this with my linux machines or my XP machine as well.

Any ideas? Does the monitor need admin priviledges for it work properly?

If it doesn't do this with your linux or xp machines, I would assume it's a driver issue. If you say you have the newest, can you find any previous versions out there and try those?
