Just for the heck of it, how did you come up with your user name?? I tried to register (several years ago) on some web site. I tried about 50 variations of my name but all were taken. I looked around, saw my paper stapler on my desk and "stapler101" was born.

BTW, I was trying to think of something different to put on my license plate. xsivforce popped in my head but, it was too many letters. After going with another plate, I realized I could have had xsiv4ce...oh well. 🙄

Kinda a long story but I'll make it short...

Was suppsoed to be born->was born->paternally nicknamed magic->Saw my 1st Dj-> Aspired to become one at age 9, 1st remix by age 12 (was grounded and had lots a time on my hands)-> 7yrs later mentored by now roomate Tom and Robbie who who used Dj Magic and Dj Robbie Rob-> told in order to use it I'd have to battle him for it or change the spelling and pronouncination of it->Changed it to Dj MagiX-> Realized that was still too close after too many gigs with too much confusion announcing the 2 of us-> changed to Dj MgyX pronounced "mah jheek", thus history was written.

I am originially from Eastern Penna and after 23 1/2 years in the Air Force (17 1/2 yrs of that overseas) I moved to Mississippi because my English wife had a sister living here and everytime we came to visit her - we like it better down here!

We've been here for 10 years now and I work at the Post Office - right after I started working there, the "good old boys" ( I call them REDNECKS) started calling me DAMNYANK - the rest of the story is history!

I still answer to DAMNYANK at work to this day!

I was in that video, and I know the guy who hits Keith over the head with the bottle in Their Law, I worked with him as a lighting engineer in Great Yarmouth.
