Tv-out problem

I've a problem. If I want to use the tv-out function, it works fine. But the resolution is very bad (I can't read the text). But if I play a divx or a dvd the quality is very very good. What should I do? I've a matrox G460 with tv-out

unless you have a VERY high definition TV with a damn good comb filter reading the text on your tv is gonna be damn near impossible...I've read various articles about all this and one guy summed it up best by saying

"why do you think a 21 inch monitor can cost as much as a 34 or larger television?...you didn't think that little plug on the end cost that much to make do you?"

What it boils down to is tv's are not made to handle fine details such as text and the like but when it comes to movies as you said yourself it's fine 🙂
