trouble understanding Apache virtual hosts

Hey all,

I am having issues with setting up virtual hosts within apache 2.2.4. I am presently using apache 2.2.4/PHP5.2.1 for one domain name only, but would like to virtual host two more domain names:

www.site1.com,[URL="http://www.site2.com/"]www.site2.com[/URL],[URL="http://www.site3.com////"]www.site3.com[/URL]

This would be all from the same Windows2003 server tower. I have enabled the extension in my httpd.conf file but having issues editing/creating the httpd-vhosts.conf file in my "Extra" folder.

I am trying to follow the documentation on the Apache site, but not fully understanding it.

Can someone help me with my httpd-vhost.conf file?
