Here's something I found that might give you an idea of performance gains with Tiger, depending on the hardware you'll be running it with.

Read that posting any sort of benchmark would be breaking NDA as Tiger still isn't on the street. Or does it become ok once it's gold/announced?

Oh and looks interesting. :)

Hmm... I know nothing about that. :ermm:

Wouldn't matter, your not running them just posting them. :) Oh and thanks.

I do wish they had done a mini though. :(

wish they had run an ibook with more than just 10.3.8

My configuration is actually listed.

Yeah but would take forever to do every pre-10.3.8 systems. As most (well that would upgrade anyways - as some ppl are still running 10.2.x) people would be running 10.3.8 right now.

i hope that tiger runs well on my 500MHz ibook... i know it falls within the req. but who knows how it will actually run

It'll run as good, if not slightly better than panther.

I have it installed on my iBook right now (1GHz/768mb) and can say that it definitely runs better than Panther for me.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
