Ticker/Coding problem

Ok, I have this piece of JavaScript that isn't working. Here is what is going on:

I have an ASP website. The main page (.asp) includes several html pages. this one html page that is included has a JavaScript ticker:
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/tickertape.htm

But it won't go past "Initializing..."

But when I load the HTML page separately, it does go past Initializing... and displays the text I programed into it.

Any ideas?
