I swear sometimes it feels like I never leave work. I just got up a little while ago and now I have to go back already

Usually its great.
Cops in my town make about 130 bucks an hour on over time.

Overtime equals time-and-a-half in Texas. Does it vary by state?

I get time and a half up to the first 5 hours, then it's double time

But, money is green wherever it comes from, spending time with family/loved ones is what really counts. That is why I'm a bit bummed with my work hours atm

If i had a job where overtime was allowed, i'd stay all night
But whether or not i leave at 5 or stay till 10 i make the same.
