hrm, now im here waiting on the local council to come and replace our crappy single glazed windows with nice new double glazed ones.... wonder if it will happen :S cam set to update every 15 minutes 😛

Are you getting a new kitchen,bathroom and heating system? We did last April and it's lovely :laugh:

new kitchen and bathroom... your kidding right.. this is scotland. We are supposed to get new heating, but they seem to think there is nothing wrong with our archaic radiators so they aren't getting replaced only cleaned out. Were getting hardwired smoke alarms, new windows and doors, and the new insulation in the roof... but there going to have a bit of a problem there because i built two rooms up our loft :s

We also go the smoke alarms,insulation and the whole central heating system was removed and a new boiler,radiators and lovely firesurround and fire in the living room were fitted.
Only thing they aren't doing are the doors and windows as the councils ran out of funding,ever bugger else got them but soon as it was our turn the money ran out 🙄
There's a new law that the doors and windows have to be fitted with fireproof glass BUT it states that they all have to be done by 2010,so I won't hold me breathe :suprised:
