Make and Do:

Copy my desk, get yourself an empty tinny of beer, wash it out to get rid of the empty beer can smell. Cut around the very top with a pair of scissors and remove just the top bevel. Make a series of small incisions directly downwards into the can, and fold these flaps over.

Voila, a handy pencil holder 😀 Mine is pinned to the wall, but you could dump some blu-tack in the base to keep it heavy and have it free standing on a desk as well.

It's a nice idea, however having a pen holder on or near my desk would insinuate that I actually use pens or pencils... now that's just wrong 😛

I actually only use pens at work now, and that's probably only once a week when I need a reference/order number taking across the office (If I was really lazy I suppose I could copy-paste-email it... hmmmm 😀)
