I've come to a profound realization: Chipotle is very overrated.

Grandmaster, I don't know what passes for Chipotle in Minnesota, but if you are ever in Socal, give me a call. What we got over here will keep you warm in the winter.

or New Mexico, ain't no chile like New Mexico chile.

Of course if you could handle heat, we got a couple of vietnamese places that might leight your fire, also.

Hmm...I've never been to one, and I love spice. Will go try it out sometime soon. 🙂

Try an Habanero chile.

I have cooked with them, roasted them. They look like tiny bell peppers. Anywhere from the size of a golf ball to a bit bigger. They start out green then turn a yellow/orange then red. These are also the stages of "hotness" of sorts. When they are green they're tame, yellow/orange hot, but red. 😱 They have black seeds when they are fully ripened and the outer skin and the "meat" of the chile is red.

Hell fire in a food. The red savina habanero has been considered the hottest chile on earth (at 560000 Scoville heat units). Hell a jalapeño is usually below 5000 Scoville units.

When I was younger-sh 😛 And I use to drink, my ex-brother in law and I would get his freinds talkin 'bout how they could eat chile and it wouldn't bother them and blah blah blah while we were haven a few drinks. So we would get them to bet money on eating chile. We would start with the cheap jalapeños and then they would get all brave 'n shiit. Then we would pull out the big guns, the habaneros, all sliced up with some lemon juice on the side and take bets. We would chomp on those and take their money. Was fun while I had an iron stomach. Now I can only eat them when cooking and not as often. 🙁

Ah Didn't realize it was a restauraunt. uhmmm looking at the menu, it's all wrong, Carnitas are deep fried, carne asada is not an adobo seasoning, and chicken marinated in an adobo?

Uhmmm they make their beans the same way I do, but I bet you my salsas have better flavor.

Gonaads we flash fry 'em and have them with lemon and salt. Habanero is excellent stuff, so are scotch bonnets.

Wait a minute. That white washed Mexican food place? Blah! :s

There's one downtown here in San Fran.
