System Restore problems...

Recently, System Restore will not preserve any of my set restore points. It seems to only save one or two....and none of them are any previous days/times that I could use to restore my computer in the event of a system malfunction...I have approximately 1GB reserved for System Restore...so, it's not my disk space allocation. Any thought?

1 gig dedicated to system restore will only hold a couple of restores unless you have hardly anything installed on your system.

I run 12% of my 40gb drive for restore. almost 5 times the amount you have.

I also have 12% of my 80gb drive for restore (yes, probably overkill) - however

Go to system restore settings and increase your disk space useage, then try to create a restore point and see if it works!
