yup, exact same thing only you gotta run it from the command line :)

just open up the command prompt

type sfc /scannow

hope that helps:)

Yes it does but it needs to be run from a command window. Click start> run> type in 'cmd'> then type in 'sfc /scannow' without the quotes of course.

I must agree, you guys are the best. I've learned so much just from reading alot of these posts. Unfortunately, sometimes I go further than I should..
