super search and replace?

does anyone out there know how to quickly search and replace the same thing for a whole directory of hundreds of files and several types of files (ex .txt, .cgi, .pl, etc)? (my ip address just changed) and my server's link are now messsed up

simple perl script should do the trick...do you know perl? If not i might be able to help u out if you can wait a few days. im super busy right now with finals.
