Can someone point me to the "probable cause" of multiple

or its log or alternate
It is corrupt, absent, or not writable.

errors? I've had this happen several times. The MS fix (Q307545) works but I'd rather not deal with it on a regular basis!

Thanks xsivforce... maybe I can get XP to act civilized now or maybe screw it up a little more . Reinstalling and registry repair has become a real pain!
