Steam and 56k

Hi all,

Is it at all possible to use the Steam network on 56k?
I really wanna play CS 1.6 but its just not working....
When I download the installer, install and execute Steam,
it just sits there and won't download any games
Am I doing something wrong or is Valve getting rid of us dial-up users for good?

I've done it before... never again will I attempt that with 56k.

You have to download a lot of game files, so 56k pretty much gets you nowhere.

i did it!
64k digital

both steam 1.0 and steam 2.0

CS will not download automatically... you have to tell it to update automatically.
