Sound and Winamp

Everytime a new song plays I have to reset my volume settings. WHY?

I can turn it all the way up for one and when the next song starts the sliders are set to almost all the way down. 😡

Try this. Control Panel> Sounds and Audio Devices> 'volume' tab> Speaker Settings 'Speaker Volume' button. I 'think' this is where you set the default sound level. Adjust it there and see what you see.

Doesn't help. New song plays and the volume goes back to low.

Had that happen once...

Solved it by COMPLETELY removing Winamp (and all references to the aforementioned Winamp), Cleaning up all the junk lying around, then finially Re-installing Winamp (used custom install settings and installed everything).

Now the sound stays put.
