Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel

OS is XP Home and I cannot get the wheel to work with Nascar Racing 4. Some info on their site say the wheel will not work with XP. And at other places it leads to believe it will work. Has anyone been able to get it to work using XP ?????

I don't have one but I know for a fact that there are a ton of people using it with windows XP on rec.autos.simulators newsgroup. I'm sure if you ask there that you will get a ton of replies.
