I've got a nice shortcut on my desktop that restarts my computer (found here!), and was wondering if anyone out there knew of one that I can use to shut it down?

I would like to have a shortcut that shuts it down, and another to restart the computer.

Thanks!

C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe -s -t 01

obviously point it to your system32 directory if it is elsewhere.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe -r -t 01

Thats the RESTART command if anyone is interested

is there one for win98 ?? i got a right wierd shutdown problem on a customers PC.. just keeps rebooting no matter what and it's really buggin the hell out of me now.

Tried that, i'm starting to think the MOBO is faulty as it's a PC Chips all in 1 thingy.
