Server slowness and time-outs

I apologise for the general slowness and the time-outs some of you have been receiving.

Over the past few months I have been making changes to what software OSNN.net runs, and how it is run. This has been working great over the past months mainly because of the steady stream of traffic, nothing extreme. When all of the sudden the HP give-away takes place, all the new members started pushing the server harder than before. It was tweaked just right for the previous work load, but definitely not for the current work load.

Please bare with us as we try to tune things just right and try to get everything back to the speedy website you know, you might see a few hiccups here and there, but everything should be getting better.
