OK - I finally installed xp-pro .

I have one small problem - whenever I go into a game or i.e. 3d mark demo and so on than the screen is offset to the right .

To be exact - I use a NVIDIA Geforce 2 with 64 MB RAM and within the mainscreen everything looks alright but as soon I do something like explained above than off to the side goes the screen.

Hope someone knows more

update to the problem

Installed RTCW and with the following settings I get the results as follows .

640-480 Center

800-600 OFFSET LEFT

1024-768 OFFSET RIGHT

so what could be the problem?

set your resolution to 800x600 and then use the monitor controls to adjust the screen position. Repeat for 1024x768, 1152x864, etc. You monitor should remember the settings for each resolution - but they do have to be adjusted individually.

You will probably need to do this every time you update your video drivers...

Hey EP! All good with me, applying for Microsoft MVP right now, should have done this a while ago.

Notifications don't work, I only found your response by coming back to hunt up some threads, if you want, give me your email address so we can keep in touch easier!

EP, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there!
