Right click and pc goes to hell

When I right click on my recycle bin everything goes to hell. explorer.exe crashes, righ click menu doesn't appear, just stalls with NO cpu activity.

I looked at the task manager and it shows no cpu activity except on the idle. What is going on???

have you run out of room for ya bin? or XP mighta hosed itself, are there any errors in ya event log?
