I currently have a PC that I built sometime ago that is just sitting in my closet not doing anything. Ideally I would like to run the computer headless, mouseless, and keyboardless as well. The machine has an Asus A7V8X-X motherboard in it and I have flipped through the manual to see if the monitor, mouse, and keyboard can be disabled but I did not see any info on it. This probably won't even be a plausible solution...but...I have one of the two port IOGEAR KVM switches that is not being used. When it was being used...I remember reading that the device emulates an active keyboard, mouse, and monitor so that it will boot up properly even when the other port has control of these items. Now I am guessing that this emulation is dependant on an actual keyboard, monitor, and mouse being attached to the KVM itself. Does anyone know a solution for this? Any input would be appreciated...
