I occasionly get hit my this in Event log (system).
TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts.

Edit: used the patcher seems to be working ok.

i just ran the patcher. on the site. Lets see how this goes it raised the limit too 50 instead of 10.

Yeah I also did it just to clear that damn message.

lol. now if i only could cure this. "A driver packet received from the I/O subsystem was invalid. The data is the packet." something to do with Kaspersky

Why am i still awake.. its 4:30 in the morning..

That error message has been popping up like the plague lately, I have implemented this tweak a lot lately. I guess the limit pre SP2 was something like 65,000. Microsoft changed it to combat viruses, to an extent, and limit your card to only 10 concurrent connections :lick:

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
