when rebooting via reboot button in windows, xp locks up at the loading screen with the scrolling animation

when shutting down, than turning it on, all goes fine

help! i hate having to shut down and turn it back on everytime i wanna reboot

Mine will do that occasionally. I'm not sure what it is... my guess is some driver being loaded hangs. I've been thinking about getting bootvis and running it to see if that will cure it. I'm not worried about it. I'm not getting any disk damage or anything so I'm in no rush to troubleshoot it.

I really don't care how long it takes to boot-up. I'm more concerned about stability while it's running... so far XP has been great for me.
