can anyone tell me why i use over 100 ram on start up

XP takes up a lot of RAM (More then previous Windows OSes). Plus you probably load a couple programs at startup. My comptuer uses almost 200MB at startup with all the stuff that auto-runs as well as the OS

What speed your ram ? (EX: PC-133, PC-2100, PC-3200)

I'm using rd ram pc800. I'll be there (your place) next week if you've got some. Then again I might take a slow boat.

Only have PC-133, PC2700, and PC2100 ram sorry...
