i have two rams.one is 256mb and other one is 512 ram.these two are working properly not together but individually.if i put two rams, only one ram is ditected.and also two slots working properly.what can i do to get two rams working simulteniously.
Dual channel RAM does require essentially identical sticks of RAM to work, though you can run non-identical RAM sticks so long as they're not in the dual channel setup.
However, many motherboards and chipsets just don't like mixing sizes of RAM at all and you may well continue to get problems from this.
Best use RAM sticks of the same size. If possible use the same spec too, if you want dual channel to work, which is recommended.
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
