You don't. That's not the problem. I'd say it's audio-drivers or settings somewhere, perhaps in the encoder. Maybe the recording program isn't very good. Maybe your computer is too slow (how fast is it?). Could be many things.

Before you do anything that hogs RAM, close any un-necessary programs. File Sharing, IM's, (If you dare, AntiVirus and Firewalls) and anything else you may have running. Also, download MPower from Mindbeat.com. It lets you free up just about all you RAM. Hope that helps!
