Okay, I've been trying to skin my XP Home to look similar to a Mac style interface. Only problem I'm having is in the little docking bar on the bottom. I don't really want to use another program like DesktopX, because I'm low on RAM as it is (I'll be picking some more up in a week or so).

So, keeping this in mind, I just dragged the quicklaunch bar out to the bottom center and made the icons large. Alls well, eh? Nope. There's this overhang. Oh how so annoying it is. A sample of it is attached. When I try to make it smaller, an icon dissappears and another overhang is created. Grar.

Anyway to fix this?

(And, if it's not too much to ask, is there any way to make the quicklaunch window's title blank?)

don't have a solution, but when you get it done post a pic of your desktop.

always looking for different ideas.

good luck 😀

Here's what I've got as of now: (desk1.jpg)

Anything anyone could possibly add would be appreciated. 🙂
Oh, yeah, I know the bar is off a bit in this screen; I fixed it after everything was said and done. :\

Right Click your tool bar and uncheck "Show Toolbar Caption". Resize the toolbar so you get 2 rows of 4? And you'll get something like this:

MicroAngelo allows for spacing of icons, not sure if it will work for your task bar or not as im not on my PC at the mo.

If you follow the XP weblinks you will find the FOSI website & that as this app 🙂
