q3-ra3 ping probs..

not sure if this is just ra3 or all games. cuz i only play ra3. but.... i'll ping a server like 40 or 50.. i'll join the server and the ping is then at 90 to 100.. im pretty sure this isnt quakes fault. most likely my isp. but im not sure what the exact problem is. if anyone knows.. or any idea's on how to fix this... much appreciated.

did you change your latency in q3? Option/Network/Latency. change it to the speed of your connection.

also depends what your using to ping servers

If you havent set up the ping program properly, you'll get silly ping times

i recommend "the all seeing eye"
