Hey guys

I have an HP PSC 1500 Series printer shared off of a Mac Mini running OS 10.4.4. We are having a problem having two PCs print off of the printer. We can connect to the printer fine, it is just the drivers that won't associate correctly. Is there some sort of folder to put drivers for other computers on the Mac?

you say you have two PC's trying to connect to it, well first off, what PC's. PC stands for Personal Computer, that means it could be running any operating system.

Sorry, They are running Windows XP SP2

You should just install the printer drivers on the Windows XP's that came with the printer, and then connect to it. As far as I know/remember you can't share printer drivers using a Mac.

We can see the printer and install the printer. That isn't the problem. The problem is that the wrong drivers are being associated with it.

Read my above post again. Install the printer drivers taht are required for XP, as if it were going to be attached to that Windows machine, then over the network connect to your printer. That way you have the right drivers installed locally on the Windows machine.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
