Hi Everyone...first time.....

I am unable to fine this feature in WinXP....

In Win2K, you are able to preview/play music files by just highlighting them individually in the explorer window and clicking the play button on the left side...the place where information about a file is shown. This is a great feature if you do not want to open up an audio player like WinAmp or MediaPlayer and just want to browse your MP3 files.

In WinXP, the only option in explorer window on the left is to play all files in directory....and it will open an audio program to play it.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

I reckon it is possible to do it in XP, you will just have to find XP's version of the "Folder.htt"
Then look for "False; //cool, but may hinder media file manipulation"
and change "False" to "True"

Thanks for your reply....it would be nice....I don't know why they would take out that feature...for both Audio and Video.....

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
