The problem: It will suspend fine... go into memory, nothing but the awake light blinking.... this is good. But hit enter to wake it up... it wakes up, but then immediately shuts down. I listed below what I thought might be important config settings for you to see. Ideas/suggestions? thanks!
Distro: PCLinuxOS
Kernel Version: 2.6.12
PC: HP DV5030us Laptop
lilo setting (from PCC)
Enable ACPI - checked
No Force APIC - checked
Force No Local APIC - unchecked
append: noapic nomce acpi=on psmouse.proto=imps splash=silent resume=/dev/hda7
Note: hda7 is my swap drive
/etc/lilo.conf
default="PCLinuxOS"
boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
keytable=/boot/livecd.klt
menu-scheme=wb:bw:wb:bw
prompt
nowarn
timeout=100
message=/boot/message
image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.12-oci6.mdk-i586-up-1GB
label="PCLinuxOS"
root=/dev/hda6
initrd=/boot/initrd-2.6.12-oci6.mdk-i586-up-1GB.img
append="noapic nomce acpi=on psmouse.proto=imps splash=silent resume=/dev/hda7"
vga=788
read-only
other=/dev/hda2
label="Winblows"
KDE CC - power control - laptop battery settings:
Power control tab: Powered - Suspend - 1 minute (for testing purposes)
ACPI config tab: all checked
Also, hibernate is slow, but works. Minor glitch, my USB ports dont wake up...any clue on any of these issues?
Thanks!
