Picture Popup

I am just finishing up my website and I have my Print Designs page and the Web Designs page, both are small thumbnails of images. Which I want to be able to be clicked on and a popup comes up with the full image.

Now I noticed when you upload an image on these forums, and you click it that nice popup design happens, not just another webpage opens, a nice popup with a close option and all that (you should know what I am talking about).

I was wondering how I can do that, with a html/css website? I assume there are many ways, which is the one used here, and is it easy to setup?

Its called a lightbox, theres a wide assortment of implementations, some depend on frameworks, others don't, but you can find most with a google search like this one
