thanks for the help everyone, my pci is running at 40 and agp at 80, although any higher fsb, my 3Dmark drops so i think it might be affecting my gfx card.
i might just stick to my 124Mhz, or else i might have to spend some money
anyone know if the 1.3Ghz celly overclocks any good?
Firstly, the fact you can't achieve 133 FSB has nothing to do with the PCI and AGP slots running above normal settings. Secondly, a board like Abit allows you to lock the PCI and AGP slots at 33 and 66 MHz respectively while you crank-up the FSB giving the old chip some life, courtesy of SoftMenu III. Anyway, the old Celeron just can't handle 133 MHz FSB. Personally, I enjoy an AGP setting at 72MHz and PCI slots at 38MHz (conservative, yet a performance boost for quality hardware).
I started a thread over at Overclockers awhile ago about FSB and Hardware boosts...
The popular consensus,,, and some testing,,, shows upping the FSB only effect the CPU,,, It does'nt change the tranfer rate or performance of the AGP/PCI cards...
It does change the transfer rate slightly (although not like the FSB). No, the sound-card does not run quicker although 80 pt jump at MadOnion 3DMark for video card.
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
