outlook backup

hi, how do i backup my ms outlook XP? i know there are softwares to do it, but it needs to be paid. so how do i do it manually?

file > import and export

click on file>import export>then, you want to do a .pst file and back up what you need. I back mine up every week just in case something happens. Hope this helps!!!

Within Outlook XP there is also the posibility to automatically make a backup at regular intervals (it's basically an automated export to a specific directory)

If you want to enable/change this option you can go to File/Backup...
