Ok guys, new problem with my Norton Antivirus

Hey guys, I have a problem with my 06 Norton Anti Virus. It keeps putting a window in front of my face that I have a virus, but it’s a piece of software that I use that Symantec has deemed a virus. I get a message and I click the link on the message and this is it. http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2006-012511-5211-99

I'm keeping the software, but how do I go about getting my antivirus to stop checking this file? I have put .dll files to avoid scanning, but nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

Did you click on the technical details and removal tabs at the link you posted?

Info on there about how to get it excluded.

Exclude (Not recommended): If you click this button, it will set the risk so that it is no longer detectable. That is, the antivirus program will keep the security risk on your computer and will no longer detect it to remove from your computer.

The only problem with that, is that when I do my system check, it doesn't detect the file. Only this little red screen comes up. I can't get rid of it.
