Has anyone experienced this (check out the attachment please)? The arrows on menus in XP, e.g. Favorites and Programs, turn into an "8". It doesn't affect XP but it's really........ weird... 🙂

Do you have a theme applied? if so it might becuase you don't have a reqiured font or somesuch. try chaging themes so if it goes away?

I'm using the Windows XP Theme that comes with XP. The problem happens not very often and I don't know what I did (or me at all) that caused it. Restarting the computer fixes the problem though.

I would need a list of all the programs that start when you start XP. Antivirus, Firewalls, utility programs, anything you got.

It's probably something that is loaded and remains there until you use it, then it makes those changes.. Just a guess, but it's a start...
