Hi
Have a 30GB drive partitioned 15GB 10GB and 5GB all FAT32.
Converted the 5GB to NTFS with Partition Magic (just to try it out),
now I find that the computer hangs when I try to boot into Dos using a floppy. I expected it to boot as normal but not see the 5Gb drive - but this was not so.
Any help appreciated.

Hmm, that sounds like a problem with something other then the NTFS, NTFS should have no effect on you booting from a floppy. How did you create the floppy? and can you boot from the XP cd?

I agree completely. The boot process has nothing to do with the file system. A new boot disk may be in order.
