Norton Antivirus 2002

Hi

When I start up my PC the Norton Antivirus software takes about 2 to 3 mins to start up. This is starting to annoy me. Does anyone have any ideas how to cure this problem.

Check out the thread in tips and tweaks which is called tired of waiting, i have the same problem, did what Alec did and it fixed it, reversed it back to how it was initially and no probs still!!!
give it a go and let me know how you get on, there are loads of proggies like this that cause such probs. 🙄

Cheers Alec, it works but why does it work even after reverting the settings back? any ideas is it just that windows has finally recognised the way i use my o/s???? 😛
