new pc again

I have nearly £1000 for new pc, i am a total gamer and surfer,
recomendations of what vid card, processor, mb & memory to buy...... thanx

Sounds good - AthlonXP, Asus MB, dunno about the Geforce - I'd go with a really cheap video card actually (ie Geforce2 or Radeon 7200), since Geforce 4's are coming out soon, followed by the Radeons with the new R300 chipset, which will have full DX9 support... Save your money and buy one of them when they come out. Otherwise looks good - SBLive or Audigy, and definately DDR (at least 256MB, 512 is better)

For a 'great stonker of a fan' , I would get the Dynatron 1206BM-0 - the one I'm using - I have the XP1800+ oc'd to XP2100+ and my temp is ~39C idle ~43C load. Not bad at all.

the hell with the live. get the audigy or use Hercules Game Theater XP 5.1 they rule lol
